Movie Review : World War Z

World war Z

The best zombie film ever made!! It had action, drama, a great performance
by Brad Pitt and enough jumps in a film to make you jumpy for the rest of
your life!

Rating: PG-13 for frightening images, violence and subject matter.

Brad Pitt carried the film.  He was your made you feel like the everyday
hero.  He was just a normal guy protecting his family. Not Oscar worthy, but
definitely Golden Globe worthy.  As always, he makes his performance better
than the last one - Fantastic job Brad!

This movie was too unpredictable.  I'm serious.  Even when you read the book
they don't key anything into the film so you don't know where the film is
going to go so you have to grip onto your seat to see if Brad survives it

all.  Marc Forster is a great Director for thrillers.  He made you
breathless, scream in shock and cheer in relief.  Not many Directors can do

that anymore.

The cinematography was the amazing the shots they used when they got to
India.  It made you feel like you were traveling with them and when Brad was
on the run it felt like you were right beside him.  Great experience -
loved it!  Lighting was special.  Was suspenseful at times.  The only thing
that jumped out to mew as when the zombies came or were going to come.  It
got all dark and red so you had to really prepare yourself - that was great.
It was smart.

The music was great.  It matched the film perfectly.  When they were on the
move, it was exciting and bright.  When you knew the zombies were going to

come, it felt all of a sudden jumpy and dark.  Building the suspense was
amazing - great job!

The makeup was jaw dropping.  When you see the last zombie in the film up
close, the detail they put into the zombies were just mind blowing.
Definitely Oscar worthy.  It was amazing they had this walking dead kind of
makeup to it. Made me feel like they really were real that's how convincing
it was.
