Movie Review : The Fate Of The Furious

The Fate Of The Furious
This film is a action packed thrill ride that doesn't let up for a moment and it is an absolute blast. I really enjoyed this film having a grin on my face the entire time because this film was just so damn fun. This series is over the top yes but the great thing is the series knows that so you can sit back and enjoy an over the top action extravaganza filled with cars and baby oil this film  is one of the most fun movies of the year that everyone should see.

When Dom gets pulled in to do tasks with a woman named Cipher who makes him do things he doesn't want to do because she has something on him that will make him do what she says and he'll have to go against his toughest opponent yet his family.

Rated PG - 13 : for prolonged sequences of violence and destruction, suggestive content, and language

Vin Diesel : Vin delivers a incredible performance as Dom in the latest Furious franchise. Vin has been part of this film series since the beginning and I've seen every single one of the furious films and I can say he's been good in them but what he did in this film was something different and in the best way. He really shines through in this film in ways I never have seen him before. Such as theirs a scene where he's holding a gun to a woman's head and she's trying to talk him down and he has this dark look in his eye and intense sound in his voice. He just brought to the full front a performance I haven't seen him deliver before. He just was able to show sides to him he haven't seen and really see his range as an actor. Theirs another really greatly acted scene where he's crying and tears are streaming down his face when I was seeing it wow it was heartbreaking but it felt so genuine and real. I would have to say Vin delivers his best performance as Dom in this film he just really did a extraordinary job in this film. Overall Vin delivers a emotional performance that shouldn't go unnoticed.

Dwayne Johnson : Dwayne delivers on all levels once again giving us another great performance as Hobbs. In Furious 7 Dwayne was in the film but for only two action sequences that was about it and for the most part was absent from the film so it was nice to see him in the entirety of this film because he truly brings good fun to this franchise and dose so again in this film. In the film he is really funny and I'm happy to tell you he really made me laugh at many parts in this film. And I loved that because  the plots for these films are always so serious so when it gets some Humour injected in the film it helps lighten the serious tones and that's what the Rock, Tyrese Gibson and Jason Statham do so well in this film. As well The rock has hilarious onscreen moments with Jason in this film and it's just so much fun to watch these two big action stars go at each other. Dwayne can be the funny guy at times then really go the extra mile and showcase his serious acting muscles too. He balances the serious and Humour very well In the film. Whenever he was onscreen he stole the scene with his great onscreen presence. The Rock delivers once again another fantastic supporting role as Hobbs.

Jason Statham : Jason brings his A game in this film and I love it. Jason impressed me with his work in the action comedy Spy and he really shined in that movie he dose so once again in the latest furious instalment. Jason isn't in it as much but when he's onscreen he's just fantastic the banter back and forth he has with the rock is amazing to watch. As well his humour in it I found hilarious too Their is a sequence towards the end of the film on a plane I thought he was just incredible in. He is definitely a supporting presence in the film but makes the the most of the scenes he's in. Jason brings the toughness to him and like I said goes toe to toe with the Rock which was brilliant. And I really hope he is in future films of the series as I think he is such a fun aspect of this series. Overall Jason delivers a hilarious supporting performance in this film.

F. Gary Gary : Gary brings the most fun furious film since fast five. This director I have not heard of before or seen any of his previous work but after seeing what he did with this great franchise I will definitely check his future projects and past work out. I hope he directs the next instalments of this series also as I think he brings the perfect balance of humour action, car chases and drama in this film and is the perfect mix to make a truly fantastic furious film which is what he delivers on all levels. In the film we know by know the action is over the top so he really has fun with that and has a freaking submarine and just the way he was able to lay out this action set pieces were very well done. What I liked about what he did was he made the next action sequence top the last which was just amazing. So he brings the action you expect in these films but also gives us some emotional depth too that I haven't seen before which was great. He also knew when to lighten the mood up with humour and not take the material to seriously he gave us a fun action thrill ride which is what we like from this series and he dose just that. I also loved the new faces in the franchise he brought Scott Eastwood, Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron. Overall Gary brought a truly fun film giving probably the best furious film yet.

The Lighting : The tones of colour used in the film was mostly light blue, rich yellow and grey and the mixture came out great. Really getting the frame to pop out and have had the perfect use of tones for the right beats of the scene well done guys.

The Cinematography : The camerawork in this film was really well shot Their is a action sequence in New York that was jaw dropping and most the reason it was so good was how the camera was able to capture every moment on the camera and use angles to soak all the action sequences through the lens using these big wide shots to capture every moment I loved the use of the camera in this film very well done.

The Soundtrack : once again the music knocks it out of the park with truly fantastic tracks in the film. The music choices fit the film perfectly and will have you dancing and tapping along. The soundtrack is definitely worth checking out I loved it.
