Movie Review : The Lego Batman Movie

The Lego Batman Movie
This film is simply one of the funniest films I've seen in a while and a enjoyable film you'll have from start to finish. This movie is basically making fun at the Batman universe and the film recognizes that and it's brilliant. Not only dose the film provide great laughs for all ages but also gives a heartwarming message in the film to Will Arnett 's fantastic voice work as Bagman this film will make you laugh, get emotional and is simply one of the years best films.

This film tells the story of Batman and how he lives a lonely life and can save the world by himself until he adopts a child and turns his world upside down

Rated PG : for rude humor and some action

Will Arnett : Arnett delivers a fantastic performance of his portrayal of the caped crusader once again. Will's Batman the world first saw in the Lego movie and stole the screen in so it is fantastic to see his character get his own Lego movie. What a great performance Arnett brings to this movie it's so entertaining to watch. He is truly hilarious in the film the jokes never felt to cheesy or forced when he was funny it felt natural and it came off hilarious. At the same time Will was also able to show a more serious side to this great character through his tone and he really gets you emotionally at times to. Arnett delivers the best voice work I've ever seen for any Batman film he truly brings the character alive through his great energy and enthusiasm when onscreen he's so spectacular in this film. Theirs not one moment where you aren't enjoying what Will is bringing to this character he gives once again a scene stealing performance as The caped crusader.

Chris McKay : Chris brilliantly directs this hilarious Lego Batman movie. Chris's previous work I haven't really seen expect for Robot Chicken. So I know that he can do comedy but I wanted to see how he would bring that kind of comedy to a kid friendly Lego Batman film. And he dose it so greatly with his work in this film he is able to showcase great voice work from Arnett as well as hilarious comedy for the kids and adults as well as delivering a heartwarming message for everyone. He just truly gives you a fun time at the theatres which is what we all want and he dose so well with this film. Chris has crafted fantastic directing with this film and I can't wait to see what he dose next.

The Lighting : great use of colours in this fantastic film. The movie was able to express some really terrific colours in the film with its use of yellow and dark yellow to bring this gold feel to the picture. It made it even feel 3Dish just the overall look of the picture was fantastic to see it really made the frame pop out overall great lighting.

The Soundtrack : The music used in this film was great. It didn't feel cheesy in any sense or forced the tracks used really fit the tone and the character. It'll make people laugh and dancing along great music used throughout the film.
