Movie Review : Training Day

Training Day
This is Denzel Washington's Best performance to date ! With the stellar acting by Denzel and Ethan Hawke  . The plot was so grounded moved at a incredible pace so it was moving along and entertaining you at the same time loved it . Best Cop movie since Lethal Weapon.

Jake Hoyt first day on the job as a narcotics Officer gets a 24h training course by a rough detective but he isn't what he appears to be

Rated 14A:  language violence throughout brief nudity

Denzel Washington : Gave his best performance to date  . He plays a corrupt cop and plays the role so well. He put his sweat blood and tears into this role. He played the character so well he received a Oscar for best actor for it and well deserved it . Best performance by a Actor in a crime drama I have ever seen. This actor is truly one of the greats he has played Malcolm X ,  Coach Herman Boone , and of course Det. Alonzo Harris . Whatever role he plays he always pushes himself to make his performance better then the last one and I salute him for that . Stellar  Performance

Ethan Hawke:  gave such a great supporting performance as the cop who is just trying to get through the day alive. This performance earned him as well a Oscar nomination for best supporting actor . I
have heard of this actor but never really bothered to watch his material after watching his performance in this film . I will watch all of his stuff he was stellar in training day. Definitely deserved the Oscar for best supporting  . Amazing Job

Antoine Fuqua : his directing made this film what it is today. A classic a great crime drama with amazing performances and a great plot. Before I saw this film I never have heard of him . Then I heard he directed last years action film Olympus has fallen and Shooter. I will definitely check these films out after seeing training day . The way he shot the film the action that he brought out I haven't seen this kinda of directing since I saw Kick - Ass. He deserved a Oscar nomination for best director .

The lighting : was your average blockbuster crime film dark. The way they did the lighting when they were in the hood was brilliant   . Great job

The cinematography : was alright nothing eye popping . Good job !

The Score : the music felt so rich that I got soaked up in every minute of it. It just felt beautiful loved it.
