Movie Man Darian Watching All Night Long

Transcendence
This film was a great film with great performances and a great compelling story. Johnny Depp gave such a dark and scary performance as Will Caster . The visual effects and cinematography was beautiful .  Why this film got such negative reviews is because some people didn't understand the plot . Because it's a hard story to follow but you have it really focus and listen . This is one of the best films I have seen this year.

Johnny Depp : This was such a great performance by Depp once again! In this role he plays a scientist which project turns into a scary visual of the future he portrayed it so well . The way he delivered his dialogue and the expressions on his face was anger, frustration, love was great . His character in this film you can't quiet figure out if he's a good person or if he's gone completely bad . Overall great performance another great performance by Depp.

Rebecca Hall : Her portrayal as the wife of Will was fantastic . The way she  delivered the character through emotion  was brilliant . Through love, anger, and wonder . When she was in a scene with Depp the acting was so real it was great. Loved the performance .

Paul Bettany : His supporting performance in this film was great. He's been in some great films over the years a Beautiful Mind , The Tourist and more . So when this film  came out and I heard Paul was in it I was like this is going to be another great performance . And it was the emotion he put into his character and performance was great. Another great performance by Paul .

Wally Pfister : One of the best directing of a science fiction thriller I have seen in a long time . This was Wally's first directed film and he did a great job. He did the cinematography on a Inception which he won a Oscar for . So you can expect just hearing that it's going to be a good picture. The sets and cinematography Was great .  How he got great performances out of his actors was great. The way he built up the suspense and made you think that you knew how the ending of the film was going to end but then it goes in a completely different direction I loved that . For his first directed film he did a great job .

The Lighting : It felt like the type of lighting you would see in Inception bright but also dark. This type of feeling that it was this suspense lighting tone they put in the film I loved .

The Cinematography : It was genius ! Some of the shots were breathtaking like in the last scene of the picture I won't say anything but it was fantastic how they shot it.

The Score : Mychael Danna created a masterpiece . The way the music would build up the suspense and go low key was great it felt like a Hans Zimmer score I loved it.
