This film was truly original and unique it stands out as a film of its own. Robert de Niro was phenomenal . Scorsese's Directing was brilliant one of the best films of all time !!

A  unstable Vietnam war veteran drives as a night time taxi driver in New York City
where the perceived decadence and sleaze feeds his urge for violent action.

Robert De Niro : He gave one of the best performances of all time !! De Niro will be remembered as one of the best actors since Marlon Brando for his stellar acting abilities. In this film he gave a amazing performance as a man who feels the urge to do something for his country and to act as a citizen . De Niro portrayed the character so well . He brought such emotion and spirit to this role . I would have to say this is one of the best performances I have ever seen De Niro in . Definitely deserved a Oscar for the performance ! Stellar job De Niro at his best!

Jodie Foster : she gave a great performance! I love her in so many films but she stands out in this film out of all of them . She was hardly in it but when she was she was stellar loved it!

Martin Scorsese : His directing is so fresh original and fascinating . The way he tells a story and the powerful performances .He will be going down in history as one of the best directors of cinematic history. This film is one of his finest films I have seen and I have seen a fair amount of his films. In this film he shows a more serious and dark tone to the movie compared to some of his other stuff I have seen and he did it so well . As always another masterpiece by Scorsese once again.

The lighting was average nothing really eye poping or outstanding . Did a good job !

The cinematography was amazing the thrilling scene in the end was excellent .How they used the angles made it look beautiful . Very well done !


The Score by Bernard Herrmann was so well done. It was groovy and catchy I loved it fit the film perfectly great job!
