Captain Underpants : the first epic movie
This film was so much fun I couldn't help but smile! I grew up reading these books as a kid so when I heard this film was being made I didn't care who was in it I was seeing it because I love this book series. Now was I disappointed absolutely not this film is so much fun it has great humour incredible animation good pacing and a fantastic portal and execution to well written series. Captain Underpants the first epic movie is a fun time you can enjoy over and over.

Ed Helms : Helms gives a truly entertaining performance to such a beloved character to many people. Ed is more known for raunchy comedy in films like we're the millers to vacation his area for acting lies mostly in the comedy genre more specifically adult humour so I didn't know if he could tone that down and do this kind of film. He surprised me not only was he good as the title role but he was the best part of the film he truly brought the character to life from his bigger then life Charisma and humour giving such a good voice performance in the film. He was able to play two characters essentially giving each real life to them he would be the mean principle in the beginning and showcase his anger but then would switch it when he's captain underpants and he did to so well and was so entertaining it's hard not to smile when seeing him onscreen giving tremendous voice work in the film. Overall great voice work by Ed Helms.

David Soren : David gave fantastic direction on this animated feature! David a director who's only work I've seen before which was turbo had a huge undertaking with this film. He took on a huge task taking on a series people hold dear to their hearts and bringing in a unknown director to helm it is risky and it paid off so well for it. He's vision for the film was incredible he captured the heart and fun of the books in the film with stunning animation that really pops out. His style of direction matched the film perfectly. Showing he was the perfect person to helm this project giving truly great direction.

The lighting : the tones of colours and colour was very vibrant and bright I loved it. The big uses of May colours were amazing to showcase the film and really being the picture and fun heart of it to life it really was a character of the film in many ways I loved it.

The Score : The music in the film was well done! The composed music helped fit the emotion and scope of the  film right really bringing the scenes to life with its greatly composed score.
