Movie Review : Mission : Impossible 3

Misson : Impossible 3
This film soared beyond expectations and brought back the gadgets cars and action we love in the franchise! Since the second instalment was so bad I was very very nervous before seeing this film that it was going to be a train wreck like the last film but I was so wrong. This film is excellent on every scale with explosive action sequences great pulse pounding adrenaline and a badass performance by Cruise along with a great storyline to keep you intrigued. One of the best action sequels I have ever seen.

When Ethan Hunt gets called back to work to go after a incredibly lethal arms dealer while trying to keep the secret from his girlfriend so she doesn't find out what he's really doing

Rated PG - 13 : for intense sequences of frenetic violence and menace, disturbing images and some sensuality

Tom Cruise : Another intense and entertaining performance as the spy Ethan Hunt! Tom Cruise always brings new elements to Ethan in each Mission film. And in this one we really see him revel his emotional side more then ever. In the past ones Tom has always been serious and really action driven but in this one he reverses it and shows his softer side which is really nice to see. His performance is this film is different then the ones he has provided in the past which makes his performance in this film his best in the series. He's able to be serious while delivering great emotional aspects while keeping you entertained Cruise delivers once again.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman : A surprisingly rich performance by Hoffman! When I heard Hoffman was in this well known franchise I was surprised to hear he would be involved a big scale film like this. But after seeing his performance in this film I would call his performance  as Owen the best villain to date in the series. Why? Because he brings a intense edge to the character that makes him terrifying to watch but you can see Hoffman is giving his performance as this character his all and you believe the dialogue he's delivering because he is convincing the audience he means what he's saying. Because when he's onscreen he gets so wrapped up in the scene. And I've never really seen Hoffman as a villain before in any film and to see him play this terrifying character and bring such intense anger  to his performance resulting in a outstanding performance. Overall a  entertaining scene stealing performance by Hoffman.

JJ Abrams : JJ gives the best directional debut ever! For a first time director to make a spectacular intense action film like this is genius! Also by this point in his career he was just known for the television series Lost. So his name wasn't that known in Hollywood this film defiantly launched him into superstardom. This is also a lot for a first time director to be at the helm as one of the most well known film franchise in film history. So the pressure to make a fantastic sequel is a lot to handle. But after seeing the film I cannot picture any other director doing this film only JJ's vision could of made this film the great film it is. He gave us breathtaking sequences of action and then he would show up more of Ethan's personal life so more character development. Beautiful locations and then you got the gadgets and cars it's a classic spy thriller which is what Mission : Impossible stands for. This film proved that JJ is one of the best creative directors out their in Hollywood working today  Phenomenal job JJ.

The Lighting : Great tones fit the frame perfectly! The style of lighting in the film was so rich and bright but dark at times which is great so it would know when to shift it. Cause they would match it with what is going on in the scene and what's the emotion of the scene so it would take all those factors and then result in fantastic tones for the film I loved it great job guys.

The Cinematography : Some breathtaking scenes that wow the eyes! The Mission films has always been known for their incredible action sequences so what they brought to the film in this one was they would drop you in the middle of the action. They would capture every aspect of the action feeling like your their with Hunt experiencing the action with him I loved it stunning.

The Score : Beautiful just so well composed! The music in this film got the adrenaline pumping in you then the next it would be low and just by a single key make you feel emotional. That's how good the music was. It got you wrapped up in every moment of the film terrific job I loved it.
