Movie Review : Mission : Impossible 2

Mission Impossible : 2
This film sucked it was a huge mistake and disgrace in the franchise! I love the show and film franchise but this film fell short with no character development, they just threw in explosions for the hell of it they said "hey guys it's getting boring let's crash a car and try and make it look cool". This is just one of the most disappointing sequels I have ever seen.

Ethan Hunt is sent to Sydney to find and destroy this disease

Rated PG - 13 : intense sequences of violent action, and some sensuality

Tom Cruise : He carried this film on his shoulders and tried so hard to make this a good film. He gave a great performance in a horrible sequel he brings that toughness and edginess we loved in the first film. And what I love about this series is in each film they go in deeper to Hunt's personality so your constantly finding out more about this interesting character. And in this film he brings his great charm and some humour which was refreshing cause we didn't get to see much of it in the first instalment. Along with great stunts by Cruise himself which makes the action sequences more intense and realistic thanks to Tom. Once again another great performance by Cruise as the great Ethan Hunt.

John - Woo : When I heard John was directing the follow up to the Mission : Impossible film I was so excited. Cause he directed Face/Off a great intense action film. But after seeing this I will not be watching any of his future projects he directs ever again. It's not because of the director and him personally it's how he butchered and killed this film that had the potential to be a great film. This film is supposed to be a slick spy film filled with great characters and action sequences. He made you leave the theatre with a horrible taste in your mouth and you feel like ripping out your tongue cause it was a disgrace to the art of cinema and films all together. This is one director I hope Ethan Hunt never calls again to direct for another Mission film.

The Lighting : It was way to bright so bright you couldn't even see the actors. The tone of the film was so bad.

The Cinematography : One thing they had besides Tom's great performance was the cinematography it was fantastic. The rock climbing scene in the beginning of the film was breathtaking and reminded you why you fell in love with the raw action they provide throughout the series. Great job guys loved it.

The Score : Same as usual they just used the music from the show then mixed in with a score to make it sound similar nothing that we haven't heard before.
