Movie Review : Interstellar

Interstellar
This film was an extraordinary picture! This film had great performances from Anne&Matthew the story was so compelling and original this film is definitely a mind boggling film. Defiantly on of the best films of the year.

When a middle aged farmer stumbles upon NASA he gets the choice to go on a adventure to save the human race but with the price of saving the world will he ever see his kids again?

Rated PG - 13 : some intense perilous, action & brief strong language

Matthew McConaughey : Matthew once again delivers another great dramatic performance. The great emotion he shows onscreen and in his character was he wants to save the world and see his kids once again. And the way he showed it onscreen was so powerful. He was great at exploring his characters emotions one minute he will be sarcastic the next he will be screaming or crying. So it was great that we got to see different layers of him throughout the film. The chemistry he has onscreen was outstanding. When Anne was in a scene with him the acting would flow so naturally. Overall Matthew gave a scene stealing performance.

Anne Hathaway : Anne gives a fantastic performance once again! Anne stole the screen with her intense emotion and very well written dialogue. Her emotional drive for the character was I a, like everyone else I want this mission to be over is I can get back to my loved ones. Her chemistry with
Matthew was so powerful and intense they made you believe that they were struggling and was trying their absolute hardest to finish this mission. Their was no surprise that Anne was going to blow me away with her great. Acting abilities she raises the bar every time and always entertains us. Overall a wonderful performance.

Jessica Chastain : Jessica delivers a powerhouse performance. Her character is the most important character of this film and the way Jessica portrays this interesting character was wonderful. She isn't in it as much as Matthew or Anne but when she's onscreen she makes the most of it. She grabs you with her emotional drive and great acting abilities. No surprise she was going to blow us away since her outstanding performance in 2012's dramatic thriller Zero Dark Thirty. The emotion she shows is  that she wants to believe that her dad is going to return on day. She did a outstanding job at connecting with the character and getting underneath the skin of this wonderful character and feeling the emotions she felt. Overall a phenomenal performance.

Christopher Nolan : Christopher steps up his game in a big way! Christopher has created some real masterpieces over the years 2010's Mind boggling film Inception recreating the Dark Knight series. Whenever you hear Christopher Nolan is directing a new film you know that he's going to entertain you with a very intriguing original story great performances and more. And he shows that perfectly in this film he creates a beautiful story with wonderful characters good character development, a breath taking score. Once the film starts he has your attention until the credits roll. He definitely deserves a Oscar nomination for best original screenplay & best director for this film. This film is unlike any film I have any other film I have seen before and that's what I love about Nolan is when you watch a Christopher Nolan film he doesn't copy anyone else he's completely original which I love. Overall Christopher excellent direction!

The Lighting : The lighting for this film was very well chosen. It had this bright but kind of dark feel to it which made the lighting feel rich and got you soaked up in every moment of the film which I loved. Great job guys.

The Cinematography : One word breathtaking! The shots in this film was spectacular some of the shots that stand out is when the title wave splashes and smacks down on the shuttle. The way they used the camera  was great it made you feel like you were so involved in this amazing journey that the characters go on. Definitely Oscar worthy best cinematography I have seen since Inception!

The Score : Hans Zimmer is a genius! The music he creates in this film is so moving the score gets you soaked up and caught up on every moment of the film and is great at knowing how the characters are feeling at that moment. The music would be able to express it It was just so beautiful the score definitely deserves the Oscar. Incredible piece of music.
