Movie Review : Chef

Chef
This film was so refreshing! The food seen in this film was delicious this film is a great feel good movie.

A chef who looses his right to experiment with food quits his job and starts up his own restraint with his very own food truck.

Rated R : Strong Language, some sexual references

Jon Favreau : Jon gave such a entertaining performance. I don't really see Jon in acting roles I mostly see him behind the camera. So when I saw him in this film I was very surprised by his outstanding acting abilities. The emotion he portrays onscreen is I'm going to try as hard as I can to let my dreams come true and enjoy my passion I enjoy in life. But at the same time he also is trying to be a good father so the way Jon showed that was very convincing. After seeing his performance in this film I definitely would check out his other films.

Emjay Anthony : great performance by such a young actor! I was very surprised by how young he was and how very strong his acting abilities is. In one scene he would be very upbeat and cheerful the next he could be very emotional and the way he switched between those emotions and made it convincing was amazing. The when Jon&Emjay were in a scene together they made you believe they were actually father and son very good chemistry. Loved his performance I look forward to seeing his other films in the future.

John Leguizamo : John once again delivers another great performance. I saw John in the Lincoln Lawyer he played a small role but was very good in it. So when I heard he was in this film I was hoping he would give a good performance and I was right. In this film he's humorous at times but also serious so I like how he plays those emotions well and the chemistry he has with his Co- stars in the film was great. Overall I loved his performance.

Jon Favreau : Jon is an extraordinary director. When he directs he lets you leave your everyday life and just escape for a few hours and just enjoy yourself. He brings comedy & drama to his pictures and that's what he perfectly shows in this film. Overall he did a wonderful job.

The Lighting : It felt very bright joyful and upbeat. I loved the lighting style for this film. It just brought a  great positive vibe to the film. Great job guys.

The Cinematography : some worth mentioning shots. The shots when Jon's character is making food in the film they way the angle the shots is stunning. Great job guys.

The Soundtrack : The music was very modern the music was very upbeat and will have you dancing in your seat. Definitely worth downloading on iTunes.
