Movie Review : The Incredible Hulk
The Incredible Hulk
This film was better then I thought it would be. A good performance by Edward Norton and a very interesting plot. The action sequences were very well executed and didn't seem over the top. The dialogue was very well written. Another great Marvel film.
This tells the story of Bruce Banner and how he is trying to live with his unusual powers and control it. But when the Government goes after him to use his powers for other uses he tries to keep moving.
Rated PG - 13 : Violence throughout some disturbing images and some brief suggestive content
Edward Norton : He have a good performance as portraying the Green eyed monster onscreen. Not many actors I can imagine can portray this beloved character right and that's what he did. He brought such emotion and depth to the performance you couldn't look away. The anger he put in this character was great. He made you believe that the Hulk was taking over his body. It was such a great performance.
Liv Tyler : She brought such emotion to her character and was very convincing onscreen. When you watched Liv in this film you can see the wonder & love in her eyes that she has for Bruce/ Hulk. When she delivered her dialogue she made it feel real. The chemistry she had with Norton onscreen was great. When they were in a scene together even when he was the Hulk you can see he has this deep love for her in his eyes and it's beautiful to watch. Great performance.
Louis Leterrier : He directed a good film. I recently viewed this film and was looking at his past work. I was quite surprised to find out he directed last years huge box office smash Now You See Me. He did a great job getting great performances out of Norton&Liv exacting perfectly a beloved character onscreen and not disappointing. He had a very well written script it all fell into place. Great job .
The Lighting : It was your average Blockbuster Superhero Marvel film. Bright a to the big action sequences and low at the emotional scenes. Great job guys.
The Cinematography : Nothing eye popping or worth mentioning. Good job guys.
The Score : It was very well composed. The way they would build up the music so when the Hulk is about to burst and get angry the music goes high I loved that. Then when it got emotional it would be very low so low that it felt like a lullaby it was very calm. Great job.
