Movie Review : The Avengers

The Avengers
One of the best films of 2012! This film had a Incredible cast a great story and overall great film.

S.H.I.E.L.D. assembles a Team of Superhero's to save the world from Loki and his evil army

Rated PG - 13 : Intense sequences of action and Sci- Fi Violence , Action Throughout ,

Robert Downey Jr : Seeing Downey suit up as Iron Man is always fun. When he was onscreen with Chris Evans&Mark Ruffalo the acting and humor was just their it just felt so real and so much fun. When Iron Man and Chris were in a scene together the acting was great because they constantly pick on each other but also are quite mean to each other. So in one scene you will see Captian America and Iron Man having a heated argument the next minute they will be getting along saving the world. So it's great to see that they can do serious acting in one scene then in the next scene switch automatically to friendly and humorous. Which is great they can turn those emotions on and off easily. Robert has over the past few years been playing Stark and this performance was different then the way he first portrayed him in 2008 in the first Iron Man. He is more serious but also when the scene is to tense he will lighten it up with a comedic joke or sarcastic humor which is great. So it's nice to see the transition from 08 to now to see how his character has changed. He did a great job once again portraying Stark and keeping us entertained. Great performance.

Chris Evans : Once again gives a great performance as Captain America! When Chris is in this role he pushes himself to make you believe the pain he's gone through. He gives such a believable performance as Captain America. When he plays him I have said this before because it's true the character jumps off the page and on to the screen and makes it look effortless. This time it leaves off where we last saw in 2011 so you get to see how he reacts to the changes around his environment. Another great performance by Chris.

Scarlett Johansson :  She gave a great performance as Black Widow once again.
She was last seen in this role in 2010 in Iron Man 2. In that film we got to know a bit about her but not all of it which in the Avengers show you a bit more about her history and the people she met along the way. Out of all the Avengers she's the most darkest and secretive out of them all she doesn't say much but her emotions speak volumes. What Scarlett brought to the role this time was everything. She had comedic timing but also had some really great serious scenes so she would shift between emotions constantly. Which is great so you see how her acting abilities are.  She has great chemistry with all of her Co- stars in the film. She gave another great performance great job Scarlett.

Jeremy Renner : He brings another entertaining performance. He portrays sharp shooter Hawkeye. We first was introduced to this character in 2011 he made a brief introduction in the film.  He is a character that hasn't been explored much but we find out more about him in the Avengers. They cast the perfect actor to portray him Jeremy Renner. He is one of the hottest actors in the business right now. He's been in American Hustle, The Hurt Locker, Mission Impossible 4, The Bourne Legacy. He was a great choice because the character has to be psychically fit and be emotionally captivating which is what Renner brings to the role. In the film he is like Scarlett's character serious and doesn't talk much. Renner isn't in the film a lot but when he is makes the most of those scenes and brings his character to life. The emotion he brings to his performance is great. When he's onscreen the acting just  real it's fantastic. Another great performance by Renner once again.

Mark Ruffalo : Best portrayal I have seen of the Hulk! Recently in 08 Edward Norton portrayed the green monster onscreen. But due to recent events they recast him and cast Mark Ruffalo. What I love about Mark's performance is he plays this character very well. He becomes the character so when you see Bruce turn into the Hulk. Mark makes it look like a monster is taking over his body which I amazing to watch. The great acting I loved from Ruffalo in this film was one minute he will be completely calm and just talking next minute he's aggressive which I great. Because he can turn those emotions on and off easily. The chemistry he has with Downey onscreen is great those to in a scene together is so much fun because the comedic humor just comes off hilarious and fun. Once again another great performance by Ruffalo.

Chris Hemsworth : Once again brings another great performance to the God Of Thunder.  He isn't as funny and silly as he was in the first Thor. In this one he dose something completely different which is being serious and has some good comedic bits but for the most of it is driven on emotion. When he is sharing the screen with Loki the emotion just pours out of him and just takes those scenes to a complete different level of acting. He did a fantastic job once again great performance.

Tom Hiddleston : He brings another great performance. Whenever Tom is in the role of Loki he puts his all into this performance which is fantastic. He lets the role consume him and become a part of him. So when he delivers his lines you can believe it because he makes it so realistic and feel so real. Whenever he's onscreen he steals the show which his intimidating character. I loved his performance he knocked this one out of the park.

Joss Whedon : He did brilliant directing for this film. Joss brought his own style of directing and writing to this film. He had to juggle so many things for this film the cast, sets, locations money, it must of been difficult. Because at the same time also had to entertain the audience with this huge blockbuster film that the audience has been looking forward to see onscreen. So he didn't want to disappoint the audience and he didn't even come close to disappointment. He got the story to progress smoothly have some great humor but also have some serious scenes in it. Have big action sequences and beautiful sets. It all fell into place he a great job. Loved the directing great job Joss.

The Lighting : It was your average blockbuster superhero film. Bright at the positive and upbeat scenes and low at the more serious scenes. Great job guys.

The Cinematography : Some of the shots were worth mentioning. I won't say what scene but in the beginning of the film the transportation they use in the film was beautiful how they shot it and the battle sequence at the end of the film. Great job.

The Score : Alan created a beautiful masterpiece. One piece of music he wrote for the film was called " A Promise" it is such a genius piece of music it gone low and then slowly increases higher and the music just takes over. It makes it feel a  triumph It gets you soaked up in every minute. The score was great at helping key in with the emotions of the film. Great job. Definitely worth downloading on iTunes.
