Movie Review : Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban

Harry  Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban
This film is one of the best out of the franchise. This film took a huge risk with getting a new director and replacing Chris with Alfonso. But Alfonso stepped the series up a notch and really showed to you Harry's magical world and the bright and dark things in his world. This film brilliant.

Harry returns for this third year at Hogwarts. But this times it's more personal when he finds out that Serious Black is on the loose. Will Harry stop him or will Serious get to him first.

Rated PG : Some frightening images, Some mild language

Daniel Radcliffe : He stepped up his game in this film. Remember when I said he got really serious in Chamber Of Secrets? He took that performance even further in this film. The emotion you see in his eyes and the way he delivers the dialogue was brilliant. When Gary Oldman and Daniel shared the screen together it was magic because the chemistry just flowed naturally. He definitely stepped up his performance as emotion in this film he did a great job. I loved his performance.

Rupert Grint : gives another great performance once again. In this one he transitions  from being comedic and going for the laughs all the time and becomes more serious. Which I love he's trying something different. But he doesn't loose his sense of humor which is great. Another great performance.

Emma Watson : Gives once again another great emotional performance. In this one she's not in it as much as Daniel but makes the most out of the time she has when she's onscreen. The emotion she shows is so powerful. It's that she cares so much for Harry and comforts him through these hard times. The way she showed onscreen was beautiful. Also when she needs to be serious she can turn those emotions on so easily. Another great performance as Granger once again.

Alfonso Cuaron : He gave the best direction on this film the best direction of the entire franchise. He put the right amount of humor and action in the story to keep you interested. Even though the subject in this one is more serious he didn't loose sight that it's a Potter film and should be full of magic which he put in it. So he balanced it perfectly. He's a genius he did a fantastic job. He got great performances out of his actors had a very well written dialogue it was great. He's a genius he did a fantastic job.

The Lighting : It was great bright at the upbeat parts and  dark at the more serious scenes it was great. Great job guys.

The Cinematography : The shot where Potter is on Buckbeak it was incredibly shot. It felt like you were with him flying it was great. great job guys.

The Score : John Williams is a genius. The one piece of music that I love that he did in the film was called BuckBeacks flight. It was scored so well it felt like a triumph the instruments they used in it was excellent. The music fit the film perfectly. Great job.
