Movie Review : Iron Man 3

Iron Man 3
This film had a intriguing story great performances only problem I had was the villain. First I want everyone to know I love the Iron Man franchise but will point out problems in the film if they bother me. The one problem I had was how they marketed this character the Mandarin to be this scary intimidating  mysterious Terrorist. Which looks very good in the trailer I won't say what happens in the film all I will say is they did the marketing on this character wrong. Besides that I loved the picture.

Tony Stark is having Heath and mental issues he's dealing with after the event that happened in New York with the Avengers Tony hasn't been the same. He's mentally unstable and has constant anxiety attacks can he keep up being Iron Man or will he give it all up.

Rated PG - 13 : sequences of intense sci-fi action and violence throughout, and brief suggestive content

Robert Downey Jr : This is the best performance that Downy has given in the Stark role. In the latest installment of the Iron Man franchise Downey Jr poured his soul into this character and gave such a scene stealing performance . In the previous Iron Man films he was great as always but in this one he really became the character and consumed himself into this role which was fantastic . He had great dialogue and hilarious sarcastic humor as always . This was another fantastic performance by Downey he defiantly has stepped up his game .

Gwyneth Paltrow : Once again gave a great performance as Pepper Potts .She wasn't in much of the film as she was in the last two films . But when she was onscreen she pushed herself to give the best performance which is fantastic . Another great performance loved it.

Ben Kingsley : He gave such a different performance then I'm used to seeing my Kingsley. In this one he plays a terrorist called the Mandarin the voice he had was so intimidating. But the character he portrays isn't what he seems to be that's what was so interesting about this character. Ben as always becomes the character he just takes the character off the page and makes that person come to life. A great performance by Ben.

Guy Pearce : He gave such a complex performance as this man who is after Tony and  the way he portrayed it was so convincing. I have seen this actor in some really good movies such as the suspense thriller Memento. And he brings that kind of style of acting from that movie to this film which was great. When guy&Downey were in a scene together the room felt so suspenseful and so real it was great. I loved this performance.

Shane Black : He brought the great direction from the style he had in the lethal Weapon franchise. The only difference from the Lethal weapon franchise is that trilogy marketed the film properly not like this film. When the posters the trailers and all that advertising  for the film came out it was very well advertised but they tricked you they made you think on of the characters was this intimidating character but turns to be something different which I was very disappointed with. Just like for Star Trek Into Darkness they didn't market that film properly either . What I'm saying is I think they should of advertised what your going to expect when you walk in so your not disappointed or shocked for something that didn't turn out they way you thought it would be. Besides that he did a great job at capturing the magic that we first fell in love with in 2008 with the first Iron Man. With all the action sequences the humor the intriguing plot. That's what he got in this film which I loved he brought the spirit back and with great performances set pieces it was great. Shane Black has outdone himself.

The Lighting : It felt like your average blockbuster bright at the positive and more upbeat scenes and a darker tone at more serious scenes. Great job guys.

The Cinematography : It had some really worth mentioning shots. When Downey is practicing and trying out his suits it feels like your their and watching him work so you experience it with him. Also when he's flying it's a great feeling.

The Score : it felt great the one piece of music in the end was great it felt mellow and low key and it was so beautifully written. The score for this film was great I love this score.
