This film was a amazing breakout performance by Michael B Jordan.  With a great  story . One of the best well acted performances of 2013!

Oscar Grant goes out of New Year's Eve but things just didn't go they way he thought it would .

Rated R : for some violence, language throughout and some drug use

Michael B. Jordan : He gave a stellar performance as Oscar Grant . The emotion he had on his face was heartbreaking . When I was watching him what I saw on his face was love , anger stress he was happy living but was stressed for his family's sake . His performance was one of the best breakout performances I have ever come across. This actor will go far with his talent  Oscar worthy  . Loved it great job!

Melonie Diaz: this performance by Diaz was amazing ! She was amazing as Oscars wife . She just brought such life and energy to the character and made it believable and convincing . Loved it!


Ryan Coogler: breakthrough direction In a motion picture by a director . Never seen his work before
his film will check out his stuff at seeing this film. He made the film a modern day drama and then in the end sprinkled it with a bit of suspense and that's what I loved about it . Great job!

The Lighting : it was your average drama film nothing eye popping good though  . Great job guys

The Cinematography : it was beautiful inside the train when they are joyful and the. When it get tense it gets even better It was great !

The Score: this wonderful score written by Ludwig Goransson. He made it feel so organic and real it just felt like the music really fit the film perfectly .
