Movie Review : Carrie

Carrie
This reboot to the cult classic horror film did it justice. Chloe Grace Motrez Did a phenomenal performance as Carrie White and Julian Moore as the psychotic mother . Loved it this film is Bullying film that should be appreciated for its fine piece of film .

Carrie White a girl with telekinetic powers doesn't fit in and gets emotionally bullied and psychically . But everyone has a breaking point .

Rated R : Bloody violence disturbing images , language with some sexual content

Chloƫ Grace Moretz : She delivered one of the best young female breakout performances I have seen in a long time. She has been in some really great films over the years for a young actress. Dark Shadows , Kick - Ass 1&2 , Hugo etc.
Seeing her performance in this film tells me this won't be her last serious role. If she continues along this path as a serious actress she will soon become a Oscar winning actress . Her talent will get her far. Great Job!

Julianne Moore :  She gave a very convincing performance as the  dark psychotic mother . And she played it so well so much that I got scared and I don't scare easily . The emotional state her character was in was filled up with anger & darkness . And not many actress or actors I have watched on screen can play that role very well and Moore did a stellar job of playing that role .  Great job.

Kimberly Peirce : she stayed true to the original Carrie film which I love in a director . If you make a remake of a classic horror film you have to give it justice to the original . Which is what she did she hired great actors for the roles she kept the story interesting and had a great a great setting for the film. She made the film feel like it was a suspense horror instead of just plain scares . She would make you relaxed them in the next scene jump  Right out of your seat which is great to keep you on your feet. She did a great job of staying true to the original . Great job!

The Lighting : it was your average thriller / Horror film . It was dark and light mixed together so it had this spooky  feel to it .

The cinematography : it stood out in one scene when she gets the blood on her the way they shot it was very interesting I have never seen it done before it great .

The Score : it felt very dark and eerie . Very much reminded me of Danny Elfman's score for Sleepy Hollow . Great piece of music .
