The Oscar nominated actor has been making brilliant films for years Inception , Blood Diamond , The Aviator , etc. The reason this extraordinary actor hasn't got Oscar glory is because the Academy wants him to play a serious role . People may disagree  with me because Wolf Of Wall Street was a very serious role I agree . But they want a serious performance out of him like Robert De Niro's Oscar winning performance in Raging Bull.that would land him a Oscar . But if he doesn't win a Oscar he will win a honorary Oscar just like Alfred Hitchcock never won a best director Oscar.  He was nominated countless times but received the lifetime achievement Oscar. Just remember folks it took legendary director Martin Scorsese 7 nominations to land him his first Oscar in 2006 for best director for the Departed. DiCaprio eventually Is going to land himself a Oscar in the future .
