Movie Review : Pulp Fiction

Pulp Fiction
This film is one of the greatest films ever made! This film is a milestone in the art of film. Quentin creates and executes a wonderful intriguing and entertaining story. Filled with rich performances provided by. Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, Uma Thurman and more. Making this the masterpiece it is today.

Three different stories involving two hit men, a boxer and robbers intervene into one big situation.

Rated R : Strong Graphic Violence, drug use and pervasive language

Samuel L. Jackson : One of the best supporting performances I have ever seen! Samuel is known for playing bad guys and interesting characters. But what makes this performance and character he  plays  in this one different from the rest of his whole career is the believability. When Samuel was onscreen you couldn't take your eyes off him because the talent was just surging off him. When he delivered his lines you believed his character meant what he was saying because Jackson put great emotion and depth to the performance. He could shut you down with his famous speech and on the other hand he can get you to laugh with the chemistry he shares with Travolta onscreen. So he gets you feeling mixed emotions and it's great he defiantly deserved the Oscar for this performance overall extraordinary performance.

John Travolta : A incredibly entertaining performance! John has played many roles Saturday Night Fever, Grease and Pulp Fiction. Just to name his iconic ones what makes this performance particularly enjoyable is the charisma and energy he brings to the character. When John was onscreen with Uma they lightened up the screen with the outstanding acting. John was able to get you to like his character even though he was doing bad things. He also was great at exploring his character and showing different sides. He will express joy, anger and shock and he can play all of those very well. He definitely deserved the Oscar mom for this great performance overall loved his performance.

Uma Thurman : One of the best supporting performances ever captured on film! Uma is incredible the way she escaped into this role and fully inhabited the character was brilliant. When she's onscreen much like Jackson's performance you can't take your eyes off her performance also. She brought this energy and believability that was genius. The way she walked talked all of it was incredible. When she talked you believed what she was saying cause and the way she was able to express different types of emotions was great. She just expressed her character so well that even when she's not onscreen she leaves you thinking about her and her performance. Overall brilliant performance.

Quentin Tarantino : Best directed movie ever! He provided the best original story I have ever seen along with great direction now that's rare. He got you immersed in this interesting and unique universe. He gets you introduced to these wonderful characters and gets you to become attached to them you get wrapped up in all of it beginning to end. He didn't just tell one story he told multiple and did it so effortlessly. It wasn't to violent or to light it was just enough to keep you watching that craving of what's going to happen next. From the locations to the costumes to the powerhouse performances he got out of his cast it all fell into place perfectly. He left his well known trademark on this milestone of a film. No other director would be able to bring the richness and freshness to this picture then Quentin. Overall perfect direction from one of Hollywood's most  brilliant visionaries.

The Lighting : Great choices for a great film! It felt very colourful and bright. Even when it got violent and dark the lighting tone didn't change that much which is what makes this film truly unique. The lighting style fit the story and feel of the picture perfectly loved it great job guys.

The Cinematography : Some worth mentioning shots! When Samuel is delivering the speech and how the camera got you to feel like you were their experiencing his rage and fear that the people felt was brilliant. Great angles and camerawork great job guys loved it.

The Soundtrack : One of the best soundtracks to a film I've ever heard! From Jungle Boogie to Son Of A Preacher Man the music fit the frame so perfectly. It helped set the tone of the film and helped describe the mood of the scene. Loved it I highly recommended you download this on iTunes.
