Movie Review : The Fast And The Furious

The Fast And The Furious
This film redefined great action films! From the compelling and intriguing storyline. the great big action sequences always making it better then the last. With great onscreen chemistry between Vin&Paul making this film one of the best action films and franchises of all time.

A undercover cop Brian O'Connor walks a tight rope of seeing how much he can be trusted. When he gets involved with the street racing universe.

Rated 14A : Violence, sexual content and language

Vin Diesel : A great performance entertaining performance! Vin by this point wasn't really known only having a small part in the grand war epic Saving Private Ryan to his Role in Pitch Black he wasn't that well known. Until this film landed him as one of Hollywood's biggest action stars working today. His iconic role is nothing below extraordinary he gives a tough rough edged character who's emotionally shutdown. And the way Vin was able to express they onscreen with such emotion you couldn't take your eyes off him whenever him and Paul were in a scene together. They make a great duo overall a enjoyable performance given by Vin.

Paul Walker : A brilliant performance from Walker! Before I watched this film I didn't really know anything about Walkers filmography. After seeing him in this film it showed me he's a gifted actor who deserves to be recognized for his talents. He blew me away with his outstanding performance in the film. He plays a undercover cop who has to infiltrate the world of drag racing. The way he portrays the character is so spot on when you see his character under stress or anger Paul would show it he wouldn't fake it you would believe he was feeling those emotions in that particular moment. I loved how we got to know him and see different layers of his characters show and blossom over the film which was great. He was brilliant as Bryan overall he gave a outstanding performance.

Rob Cohen : Rob is outstanding! This film is original and just a breath of fresh air. Sure the premises of the film is driving cars really fast but he develops a story their with wonderful characters and huge action sequences. That's what makes this franchise so loveable and entertaining to watch. He castes the actors perfectly for these role as well as getting great performances from his cast. The film just felt like when you were watching it you never got bored. It's just pure adrenaline from start to finish and it couldn't of been done right without the great vision of a good director Overall loved his direction.

The Lighting : Very bright and colourful! Since the film is drag racing you would expect darker tones of lighting cause some of the shots take place at night but it's mostly bright throughout the picture. That's what I liked it wasn't to dark or bright it just had this glamorous feel to the picture. Like you wouldn't know what would happen next I loved it great job guys.

The Cinematography : Very intense and well shot! Some great shots worth mentioning. Their are a variety of great action sequences throughout this film and it couldn't of been done or angled good without the great camerawork. It got you on the edge of your seat they put you in the middle of the action it was great I loved it great job guys.

The Score : Great music for a great film! The film is a racing, action film so you would expect face paced music. Which is what they deliver but they also show slow more clam music to fit the scene and really get it to brighten up the screen which I enjoyed. Overall enjoyable music.
