Television Review : Breaking Bad Season 2

Breaking Bad Season 2
Breaking Bad is bad to the bone! Bryan&Aaron gave powerhouse performances. A great storyline the violence and danger is bigger. This season is bigger badder and better!

When a middle aged chemistry teacher gets diagnosed with lung cancer he starts to cook crystal meth.

Rated 14A : Violent sequences of action, disturbing images, language, strong drug content& sexual themes

Bryan Cranston : Bryan gives another great entertaining performance as Walter White once again. In the first season we got introduced to Walter and in this season we get to see a different side to his character we got to see him be serious and be more darker then emotional which was great to see his character go to places we didn't imagine he would go. Bryan is great at acting all innocent then can go completely dark the next. That's what's great about Cranston he can switch between those two emotions on and off easily which is outstanding. Overall another great performance by Cranston.

Aaron Paul : Aaron gives a scene stealing performance in Season 2! In this season Aaron shows his emotional side and his more sensitive side which was great to see his character develop and see a different side of Jesse we haven't seen before. Aaron is simply fantastic in this season. When you see him in pain or sad onscreen you believe it he doesn't fake those emotions he uses his own emotions and puts it in the character which makes for a more convincing and entertaining performance. Overall loved his performance.

Vince Gilligan : He is a phenomenal storyteller! In this season he delivers more emotion, character development & a great fast paced storyline. He gets Walter to go a bit darker and for Jesse to show more of his emotional and sensitive side. He also on top of that  he ups the suspense&action. Vince shows us in this season why we fell in love with Breaking Bad in the first place.

The Lighting : The gone for this show fits the picture perfectly! It's like I said in season one very modern but it also  had a darker tone but then will go lighter at parts. It was great a describing the scene and the emotions of the characters. Loved the lighting great job guys.

The Cinematography : some great  shots when theirs a action sequence they put the camera in the middle of the action and experience what their feeling in the scene. It's great how the cameramen can get you feel like your actually their with the characters Overall outstanding camerawork.

The Score : The music is fantastic. It's such a great fit to the show it gets the characters emotions & acting performances shine through. The music once again delivers on all levels.
