Movie Review : Kick - Ass

Kick - Ass
This film was truly original and unique . The tale was when people think superheroes can change the world and they themselves make it realistic these are the consequences that come with it. The acting was great the costumes were amazing the story progressed at a certain pace so you can understand it. I love this picture!

A Teenage boy wants to help clean the murder,mobs , corrupt cops off the streets. So he dressed up in a costume gave himself a name and by day started cleaning up the streets .

Rated R: Graphic gory violence , Language & some sexual content 

Aaron Taylor - Johnson : Before this film was released I never heard of this Actor. But after watching this film I would check out some of his other stuff . The emotion  he delivered was great for such a young actor great job! He conceived you that he wanted to help the world that he wasn't one of the bad guys BAFTA Worthy . I loved this performance great job!

Chloe Grace Moretz  : She gave the best performance of the film with her sarcastic humour and violent acts . She was a lone wolf in many ways she got the job done and didn't really have any friends . She was magnificent in this role definitely deserved a Golden Globe nomination . The character is the reason the film was so good because it had a bad ass supporting character . 

Nicolas Cage : Was in this film for about 1h 30 minutes And made this performance unique . He plays a father but not your average dad he brings violence and bloodshed into his daughters life . And teaches her o protect herself against bad . But their was something creepy  to Cage in this role his look and voice was different then what I'm used to seeing him in which is great he's trying new things . I loved the performance . He was emotionally captivating he wanted the best for his daughter but he didn't know he was psychologically scaring her . The performance was a triumph !

Christopher Mintz-Plasse : His supporting role in this film was amazing . You couldn't really figure his character is he a good guy or bad guy we don't know . That's what was so good about his role it was so intriguing . Great performance loved it !

Matthew Vaughn : his direction in this film felt like a Tarantino film . It was full I action , blood , language . The way he kept you interested in the story and still engaged with the characters was brilliant . The location and music fit the film perfectly ( most of it was shot In Toronto Eh! ) loved the direction  . Great job! 

The Lighting : it was bright and colourful your typical drama /action film  . Great job guys 

The cinematography : it was pure genius some of the shots were jaw dropping . The shot when kick - Ass gets smashed in the face with the hammer in slow motion and how they angled the shot was great. Got you in the moment loved it!

Soundtrack : MIKA&RedOne created a great song "Kick - Ass " it's upbeat and catchy . Will get you singing in the shower for sure . Love the song !
