Ghostbusters 3 set to start filming next year
A source has said that Dan Aykroyd has confirmed the film will start shooting next fall.To all the Ghostbuster fans out their ( including myself ) this has been a long time coming but we hope to see it hit theaters soon. This film has been in development hell for the last 8 years. The actors have been on and off with this project they have been trying to get Ivan the director of Ghostbusters 1&2  to direct the third installment . But Ivan said that he would do the film of Harold Ramis was attached to the film he was also one of the original writers of the franchise alongside Dan. But  earlier this year when Ramis passed away Ivan backed out of the project and said he now would only be a producer on the film. Then they pushed the film back because of his death which is reasonable reason . As many people know Bill Murray said he would commit to the project if their was a good script involved . He wanted the script to be as much fun as the first film he said. They did many versions of the script and none of them lived up to Bill's expectations so they basically went screw it . They are moving on with the film with or without him . Ernie Hudson said a while back that " I would love to get slimed again". Rick Moranis is also keen to return for the latest installment . Sigourney Weaver said she would love to do the film on one condition if Oscar is a Ghostbuster in it.  All we know is that Sony gave the studio it's green light to start production. Many people have discussed that when the Ghostbusters video game came out which was voiced by all the actors from the original film people thought that the story in the film could be the script for the third installment . That's all we know on Ghostbusters 3 right now.
