This film stands as one of the best drama and heartwarming films of all time .One of the best pictures winning films the Academy chose .Dustin Hoffman received a Oscar for his performance in this film and well deserved it . The story was so well told . The directing by Barry Levinson was pure genius . This was amazing !

Self - Centred Charlie Babbitt his father passes away and leaves his fortunes to Charlie's other brother Raymond . So Charlie takes his brother across the country on a road trip which teaches him the importance of love , family and brotherhood .

Rated 14A : Strong Language

Tom Cruise :  Gave one of his strongest performances I have ever seen . The emotional drive he gave towards his brother was so convincing . The chemistry that Dustin & Cruise was amazing they looked like real brothers. This is Cruise's best performance since Jerry Maguire . I  loved this performance  Oscar Worthy. Great Job!

Dustin Hoffman : Gave on of the best performances of all time ! The stellar performance by Hoffman as being autistic was brilliant . The emotion was heartbreaking and humorous at times .the energy and charisma he brought to the character was great.  His character was so loveable its hard not to love him.  This performance earned Hoffman his second Oscar and well deserved it . I love this performance great job Hoffman!

Barry Levinson : He gave great directing for this masterpiece ! The way he got the performances out of the actors was great. The locations , the story it all fell into place . Felt like a Woody Allen picture which is hard to compare any film to a Allen picture because those films are brilliant . This directing was spectacular great job!

The Lighting : it felt like most dramas bright upbeat and at moments dark and down . I loved it!

The cinematography : Pure genius the way the used the camera and experimented was great . The shots of them in the car and of them dancing was breath taking I loved it!

The Score : Hans Zimmer made another brilliant score ! It felt like Driving Miss Daisy & Titanic put into one score . The music felt real upbeat and at times slow and mellow it was wonderful! Another brilliant masterpiece by Hans Zimmer
