Movie Review : The Place Beyond The Pines

The Place Beyond The Pines
One of the best drama films I have seen since Million Dollar Baby. The acting by Ryan& Bradley were amazing . The story was original fresh and just all around great film .

Tells the story of a young man named Luke Glenton a motorcycle  stunt driver . Who robs banks to provide money for his wife and child . Which puts him on a course that leads him to an ambitious cop .

Rating 14A : strong language throughout , Some violence , teen drug and alcohol  use

Ryan Gosling : this performance shows you that Ryan is a gifted actor with his amazing acting abilities! The way he delivered his lines and showed his emotion in the character was brilliant . He is now becoming one of the best breakout actors in Hollywood . He was nominated for best actor a few years ago for Half Nelson . And it wouldn't be his last nomination you can quote me on that. Why didn't the Academy recognize his performance in this film I will never know . All I do know is he's a great actor when it comes to dramas I can name a good couple few he's done great in Ides Of March ( Golden Globe Nomination ) The Place Beyond The a pines , Crazy Stupid Love ( Golden Globe Nomination ) . Just to name a few so what I. Saying is he is great in serious and dramatic roles and he will go far with his talent . This role he portrayed in the film was Oscar , Golden Globe worthy .  Another Great performance by Ryan!

Bradley Cooper : He's best when he's in Dramas ! Bradley has been known for the last couple of years as the romantic / comedy film star  with films such as . The Hangover franchise , Yes Man, Valentines Day, . But when he started doing more serious films like his 2011 drama Limitless I said to myself his acting in dramas are amazing . Then came along Silver Linings Playbook which earned him a best actor nomination at the Oscars. What I'm trying to say here is his acting comes across best when he's in dramas . In this role he strikes great emotion into his character almost so realistic I started to cry . Because when your acting is so believable they don't play the character they become the character which is what every film critic loves to see. Seeing a actor become his role this performance was definitely Oscar Worthy for best supporting actor . Amazing performance great job Bradley!

Eva Mendes : Best performance of her's since 2001's Training Day.  She plays a mother raising a child on her own . The heartbreaking emotion she strikes in your heart is so powerful you want to help her . Eva gave  a great supporting performance . Golden Globe worthy at its best loved it!

Derek Cianfrance : Derek gave some of the best directing for a drama since Woody Allen's Annie Hall . The freshness and original flavour he brought to the film was fantastic . The music that was chosen for the film perfectly matched the movie . The sparkling dialogue he wrote was brilliant and original . Golden Globe worthy. Great Job!

The Lighting : it was your average drama blockbuster . Great job guys !

Cinematography : it was great when he was on the motorcycle it felt like you were just beside it and it got your adrenaline going . Loved it!
