Movie Review : No Country For Old Men
This film is a pure masterpiece .This film is one of the best films ever made in cinematic history . The phenomenal performance by Javier Bardem. The thrilling story & locations were genius . Joel & Ethan Coen at their best!
This tells the story of a small town that is run by violence and Mayhem . When a drug deal goes wrong and a million dollars that is in the air .
Rated R : Strong Graphic Violence & some Language
Josh Brolin : Gave a captivating performance as the man on the run in this film . He hardly had any lines he delivered a great performance through emotion . The Emotional motive he had in the film was brilliant . It was anger, anxiety.the performance just felt so real and organic . Definitely Oscar Worthy. Loved it!
Javier Bardem : Gave the best supporting role in years! The character he portrays a psychotic character and made it look terrifying . His role is this generations Hannibal Lector. When he was onscreen the acting just felt so real . He won the Oscar for best supporting actor for this for and well deserved it , loved the performance .
Tommy Lee Jones : He gave his best performance since The Fugitive! He portrays a sheriff who's like a dog with a bone. And he will stop at nothing until this case is solved . The emotion he had was so realistic and felt so real. Oscar Worthy. Loved the performance .
Joel&Ethan Coen : These directors are the best directors since Martin Scorsese. When they make a film they bring their own flavour and technique to it . From their films like Fargo,True Grit, And more! . Their films are always full of suspense stellar acting and great story's . These are one of the best directors to ever film a motion picture . This film perfectly showed their ability that they can make amazing pictures . They won for best director and well deserved it. I loved it.
The Lighting : it felt like a western suspense thriller . It felt suspenseful and just like a big hollywood picture . I loved it the lighting they used I haven't seen before it was truly great.
The cinematography : Roger Deakins is a genius ! He has worked on other great pictures which the cinematography made the movie . From Skyfall, The Shawshank Redemption and other brilliant films .
