The acting by Meryl&Julia were phenomenal on the point of perfection. The setting for the film was great loved the locations . The stellar cast they had I have not seen such A - list actors in one film since  since Oceans Eleven. In this film you got Julia Roberts , Chris Cooper , Abigail Breslin , Benedict Cumberbatch, and more ! The film was a great drama I highly recommended it .

A look at the lives of the strong woman of the Weston family . And when a terrible event occurs in the family the family crosses paths to bring them back to their home in Oklahoma .

Meryl Streep : Her performance was one of the best performances I have seen by Streep since The Devil Wears Prada. Why I say that film is because she plays a mean boss at a fashion company and in this film she plays a similar role . The performance she gives in this film is a pill popping mean mother who pushes everyone away from her which she portrays brilliantly onscreen. The emotion she has in her voice and on her face is heartbreaking . Because she's mean to everyone and she thinks taking pills will help her but it only makes it worse for her . She was nominated for best actress at the Oscars for this role and she deserved to be their . I loved her performance Streep will forever be known as one of the best actress in cinematic history . With her amazing acting abilities she's able to transform into any character and become that role which is so brilliant . Another stellar performance by Streep. Loved it.

Julia Roberts : Her best performance since Erin Brockovich ! The frustration and anger she put into this character was stunning . The energy and charisma she brings to the performance is so powerful . She's a the daughter of Streep and is trying to care for her mother but when her mother pushes her away and emotionally abuses her she Fights back . She was nominated at the Oscars for best Supporting Actress and should of won it .Their should of been a tie between her and luptia so they both would win. Loved her performance so powerful I absolutely loved it !

John Wells : He perfectly directed this brilliant drama . The way he got the best performances out of his actors were great. The Music & locations  he chose were brilliant for the setting of the film . This film different then unlike any other drama I have seen in a while He did great a great job at transforming the stage production onto the big screen and staying true to Tracy Letts vision of the show Not many directors can juggle all of that at once and did and did it wonderfully . Great Job!

The Lighting : It was dark and bright at times because the emotions kept on changing so did the lighting which was brilliant . Great job guys!

The cinematography : it was beautifully shot the shots of the sunrise was gorgeous and just all around great I loved it !

The Score : it was just like a Hans Zimmer score mixed with John Williams . It was peaceful and quiet with a vibrant melody I loved it very well done !
