Psycho 54th Anniversary 
This month celebrates the 54th anniversary of the cult classic film Psycho. The film that made Alfred Hitchcock a legend around Hollywood . This movie made people jump out of their seats bit their nails from the suspense . This film is named one of the best slasher films in history still standing today . It may be old but from my own experience when I first viewed the movie I thought oh it's not going to be scary it's black& White . The end result I couldn't have a shower for 3 weeks without being terrified .  That's how scary it was it may be old but will be remembered as one of the most astonishing & Original masterpieces in cinema history . If you were to ask anyone on the street have you seen Psycho? They would probably say I don't know . But if you show them the famous shower scene from the movie they would say I don't know the movie I know the scene . Because the scene is so iconic and classic . The house as well when you see photographs the Bates house all the scenes and memories the film come back into your mind. The building is still their today they haven't demolished it it's still on the backlot of Universal Studios . Hitchcock has made legendary films The birds, Vertigo ,  Rear Window , North By Northwest. But nothing will come close to Psycho the chills and excitement he gave the audience . With the rave reviews he received from the critics and audience this is what made Hitchcock one of the most memorable directors to ever direct a picture . This film may age over the years but the memories and moments will stay with us forever .
