Movie Review : Deadpool

Deadpool
This film is one of the years best pictures hands down! As well as the best superhero movie of all time and yes beating The Dark Knight so right their by me saying that you know it's a badass film. Not only is it that it's side splitting hilarious comedy gold from the opening credits to the last scene literally. It's mix of action foul language and humour keeping the film intact and shows the superhero genre in a fresh way with a fun likeable character that you can't help but love. This is the most fun I've had in a theatre since I saw 22 Jump Street. This film is a fun ride from start to finish this is outstanding cinema at its best.

Wade Wilson is diagnosed with terminal cancer and has a operation done to him that gives him powers that no one thought possible naming himself "Deadpool"

Rated R : grotesque violence, strong language and graphic nudity

Ryan Reynolds : Best performance of his career! The sheer humour and spirit Reynolds brings  to this wise ass character is fantastic. Ryan has shown us he's capable of channeling in good acting in films like defiantly maybe and in this film he brings that to full throttle. In this film he is deadpool you just can't take your eyes off him I even wanted the film to be longer so I can see more of him I enjoyed him that much your just drawn to watching him all the time in the film. I've seen Ryan act in films before but he gives a hell of a performance in this film that channels his comedic abilities making you laugh until it hurts but then being able to tap into his more dramatic side and he balances both of those elements perfectly and is well acted. What he did so well in this film is he would say funny things that were incredibly edgy and crass which I thought was hilarious and I'm going they let that in the film it's amazing writing comedy at its best. What Ryan showcases in this film that sets him apart from other characters like The Hulk or Iron Man is he isn't just relatable but he doesn't take anything seriously and he hates being called a hero or looked in that way he just tries to do the right thing and dose it in a way that's hilarious and entertaining. I think I'm going to say it Deadpool is my favourite comic book character not just from the origin and story also the outstanding performance Ryan provided in this film. His emotion to was fantastic you believe he means what he says and he's not just their for the check he is Wade Wilson which I love overall Ryan Reynolds delivers the best performance of his career!

Tim Miller : Tim gives the best  true and accurate comic book to screen adaption I've ever seen! What Tim brought to the film that was so fresh and new what his ability to stay true to the comics while at the same time immerse you in this incredible universe that is Deadpool. Their is no way this film would of fit in a PG - 13 rated film it had to be rated R their was no way around it and Tim used it to his advantage and didn't use to much violence or language he knew when the limit was reached. He perfectly cast this film with Ryan as Deadpool he was the perfect pick for the film as well as breaking the forth wall and using narration to speak to the audience. He just looked at this film from a different angle and it was outstanding. He drew a lot of comedy into the film which never occurs in a marvel film so that was nice to see and it fit the film greatly. I hope he directs the sequel he's like Matthew Vaughn he brought that raw edgy humour and style to the film that really drew the audience in. Their is no flaw in his directing on his part in the film he did a fantastic job overall amazing job Tim.

The Lighting : It was bright colourful and great to look at. The signature colour for Wilson Wades character is red and black they inject that in the film but also bring other layers to the film with a mix of all the colours making it shine and really bring the scene to life captivating the audience in each minute of the film. Loved the lighting great job guys.

The Cinematography : great beautiful shots in this film. The camera work was magnificent! The way they used the lens to bring more intensity to the action sequences by looking at it from so many different angles was great got a more up close feel to it. Making you feel like your in the middle of it loved it just great stuff great job guys.

The Score : Junkie XL hits the mark again. Junkie XL did the music for Mad Mad : Fury Road and I really enjoyed the music he did for that film and he has outdone himself again with this film. He uses instruments in a really unique way that gets you into the beat of the film as well as hearing new kinds of melody's  that haven't been done before brining a fresh look to the film. In the film it's loud and intense at times then it's dragged out making it dramatic and low key which is great they get you wrapped up in each scene overall great score.
