Movie Review : About Last Night

About Last Night
This is one of the best remakes I have seen in a while. Kevin Hart gives a  entertaining comedic performance. This film is one of the best romantic comedy films I have seen in a long time and just all around fun.

This film tells the story of two couples who meet at a bar and then bring their relationship to a more serious level. Will it last or will it just be one long one night stand.

Rated R : Strong  sexual content, some nudity and some language

Kevin Hart : He gave another great comedic performance. Kevin is one of the most popular and breakout performers right now. He has appeared in Ride Along,Think Like A Man Too. Kevin gives a great performance as the wingman of the film. He brings such spirit to his character and gets the audience entertained. When he's onscreen and the scene is tense and serious he lightens the mood with his humor. The emotion he has in the film is great because I'm used to seeing Hart in comedic roles. But in this film he is hilarious as always but he also has some serious bits so he will be serious in a scene then in a second bring you to the ground laughing. Which is great he can switch those emotions on and off easily. I look forward to seeing his other films that come out. Another great performance by Hart.

Michael Ealy :  Very well acted performance. His performance emotionally was fantastic. Because in the beginning of the picture he's a very shy guy then you see him develop all these different kind of emotions in his character throughout the film. It's fantastic to watch because it shows me that he can bring all these different emotions to the table and still entertain me which is great. His chemistry with Hart was hilarious. They worked together on Think Like A Man together so when I heard they were working together once again in this film I was very excited. So when you watch Michael&Hart onscreen together it's magic because they have worked together before so the chemistry is already their so it makes it even more convincing and entertaining. Overall Ealy gave a great performance.

Regina Hall : She gives a great comedic performance once again. I first saw Regina in Scary movie and thought she was great in the film. Then  she starred in Think Like A Man co starring Kevin Hart. So the chemistry she has with Hart in this film comes naturally. I thought her acting and comedic abilities just shined through in this film. She would be hilarious in one scene the next she's completely serious so it's good to know she can play her emotions naturally. I haven't seen her before I saw this film aster seeing this film I defiantly will check out her other stuff that comes out in the future. Loved the performance.

Joy Bryant : She gave a great performance. She's plays a girl who just wants to be swept off her feet. Joy portrays it very well onscreen when you see her eyes when she's onscreen with  Ealy you can see the love she has for him. She gave such a entertaining performance.

Steve Pink : He perfectly executed this film. This film is a remake off the 1980's version. He didn't try and Copy the original he made the remake his own. Which I thought was great he also cast great actors to play these wonderful characters. He had the right amount of comedy and romance to keep you entertained and to keep things in balance which I thought was fantastic. He gave great direction great job.

The Lighting : It was great bright at the comedic scenes and positive scenes. Then more of a lower tone at the emotional scenes. Great job.

The Cinematography :  nothing eye popping or worth mentioning. Great job guys.

The Soundtrack : It had some really good music in this film it fit the tone of the film perfectly. It has some Bruno Mars and so much more. Great choices.
