This is the best mob film I have ever come across ! The solid directing by Scorsese . The greet performances by Ray Liotta & Robert De Niro . The story was so original and unpredictable . This film felt like the Godfather meets Scarface. This film was brilliant on every level. Its absolutely  brilliant . A great piece of cinematic history that will be around forever.

A man who had dreamed since he was a kid to be a gangster becomes a big guy in the mob business .

Rated R : Some Strong Violence ,Strong language  & Some Drug Use

Ray Liotta : His performance in this film was a triumph ! The way he portrayed this gangster was stellar. The emotion he filled in this role was anger, frustration and fear .  He wasn't your gritty shooter in all those gangster pics . In this picture he was a gangster but had a soft side where in the beginning he still had a good side until anger eats him up. I loved his performance I have seen Liotta in some other pictures in the past but this one really  stands out he did a great job! Oscar worthy.

Robert De Niro : Another great performance by De Niro ! His portrayal as Gangsters in many films he has acted in he  always brings this intriguing feel to the character every time . And this one is one of the characters that really stand out as his best gangster character I have seen him portray onscreen. The way his character handles his situations in brutal matters but gets the job done is so well done . His character is the guy you can't figure out is he good or bad ? This is one of his finest performances loved it !

Joe Pesci : Why am I funny what am I a clown what do I amuse you? That famous line is one of the most memorable lines in film history . Joe delivered one of the most entertaining performances I have seen . The emotional motive he had was great . This wonderful performance earning him his first Oscar . Loved it !

Martin Scorsese : This film is one of Scorsese legendary films he ever put up on screen. The direction and shinning dialogue he perfectly executed onscreen was great. He got great actors to play this wonderful characters . The acting he got out of the actors was brilliant . The score & locations he chose was perfect for the film l he was nominated for best director for this film and deserved it . The reason this film has stood the test of time is because of its brilliance to entertain the audience with a grounded plot and great performances . Scorsese makes another masterpiece once again !

The Lighting : it felt like your average mob/ drama film . Great job guys !

The Cinematography : this had some great shots I won't give much away but it's in the beginning of the film very well done . Great job!

The Soundtrack : a great selection of songs for this mob/ drama flick . Like Mannish Boy by Muddy Waters it's just a great soundtrack .
