Movie Review : Black Swan

Black Swan
This film was truly unique and breathing . It has a wonderful compelling story and a phenomenal performance by Natalie Portman . The makeup and costumes were so beautiful . This film is the one of the best film I have ever seen!

A girl named Nina is a ballet dancer and receives the role of a lifetime and strives for perfection but to strive for perfection isn't easy .

Rated R : Disturbing Images strong sexual content strong language some violence

Natalie Portman : Her performance in this film was one of the best leading role performances by an actress I have ever come across . The sweat blood and tears she put in this role was amazing . She became this character her emotional energy in the film was heartbreaking . Shes under so much pressure and stress you can just see it on her face . She received a Oscar, Golden Globe, BAFTA, Screen Actors Guild Award and well deserved all of them . Best performance !

Mila Kunis : She gave a great performance as the supporting role she deserved a Oscar nomination. Kunis plays a character you can't really figure out and it's different then what your used to seeing Kunis usually portray in films . Her and Portman in a scene together were great the acting just felt
real and organic . Great job Kunis .

Darren Aronofsky : He is the new David O. Russell ! He got Natalie Portman a Oscar for Black Swan and Mickey Rourke a  Oscar nomination for best actor for the Wrestler people will want to work in his movies for the next couple of years. His direction for Black Swan was amazing the way the sets costumes and makeup all looked perfect and beautiful was brilliantly done it stunned me by its beauty. And also how he got the best performance out of his actors were amazing . He definitely deserved a Oscar nomination for best director . Great job

The lighting : Was amazing they used this darker tone and artistic tone throughout to make you feel sad but not deviated not also not to happy . It just felt like the perfect lighting  I loved it ! Great job guys .

The cinematography : It was brilliant the shots the did in the film was extraordinary . When she starts to get more stressed the cinematography really started to stun you . Also when she was dancing it felt like you were standing right beside her . I  loved it.

The Score :  Clint Mansell made a extraordinary piece of music for this film. It just felt perfect on  every scale. It felt scary at times but also glorious and glorious Oscar worthy . I loved it great job!
